Every fortnight the class teacher selects two children who have made a particularly positive contribution – perhaps to their own learning or the greater good of the class.
These are used to highlight pupils and raise self-esteem or promote improvement in any aspect of school life, which can include: good behaviour, good work or special achievement. Sometimes these are specifically linked to the current theme in assemblies or an element of the school motto.
The certificates are handed in to the Headteacher and recorded for all parents to share and celebrate. These are awarded in Friday Celebration Assembly by the Headteacher (certificate written by the class teacher).
