Dear Parents,

My name is Norma Hallett and I am the Parent Support Adviser at Wyndham Park & St Mark’s. My role within the schools is to provide support, help and friendship and act as a link between families and school.

There are times when for any number of reasons families experience difficulties or are just feeling a little overwhelmed and low due to the stresses of everyday life. It may be hard to approach a teacher or the school.

That’s where I come in.

I am available to provide support and accompany you to meetings both in and out of school. I can access many outside agencies and resources and I will be more than happy to make enquiries for you. If I can’t give you an answer, I will find somebody who can. I can offer parenting advice and run frequent parenting courses.  If you need information on before and after-school care, here is a list of child-minders who drop off and pick up from St Mark’s and Wyndham Park.
Perhaps you need some help filling in forms, I don’t profess to be an expert but sometimes two heads are better than one!  Any problem, large or small, bring it along and between us we will find a solution.
The kettle in The Shop is always on and a warm welcome assured.

Anything discussed will be treated with the utmost confidence and respect.

You will find me in The Shop before & after school and appointments are available throughout the day during term time.  Please contact me in person, by telephone, text or email. If for any reason you do not feel comfortable coming in to school I will be happy to visit you at home.
