On Tuesday, I had the honour of judging the wonderful displays for St. Mark’s in Bloom, on the theme of British Summer Time. What a happy afternoon it was! Every class came out to see the displays, and to listen to representatives from each class give a short presentation on their chosen design and the work that the class had put in to make it come alive.
I was very impressed by the quality of the finished products and the imaginative designs, and it was clear that everyone had had a role to play, and took pride in what they had achieved.
Well done to everyone, and a big ‘Thank you’ to the staff team who devised the project.
While I was there, I had a look at the splendid allotment. What a triumph! It was lovely to see so much going on outside, and there was a great buzz of enterprise in the air, with a ‘Photo Booth’ taking place nearby, and a salad stall in the playground at the end of the day. I bought and enjoyed a bunch of radishes. Thank you everyone!
